Two Months & Smiling

If a picture says a thousand words, then this little video clip says a million. Makenna is two month old today, and truly starting to smile and laugh. She is really an amazing baby, and I can tell by her new smiles that the best is yet to come. Makenna's Gram and PopPop are visiting right now, and they are just as amazed as us by what a wonderful baby she is all the time. So this video is to share a few smiles with you on this rainy day...I hope it brightens your day!

Brave Big Brother!

After six weeks of getting used to his little sis, Kieran is getting a lot braver this week! He wants to pick her up, which only really works if we are right there helping...preferably on the couch or bed. So far no accidents, but I get more frightened the braver he gets. The good news is that he is still a doting big brother, and is always ready to help out with diaper changes. He thinks that my breastfeeding/pumping time is just story time for him!

For all my mom friends out there, here's a funny story you can relate to...this morning while helping grab the laundry out of the dryer Kieran kept saying "Here's another boobie sock!" (of course referring to my breast pads ;-)
